***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT***

We have changed our name, have enlarged our vision, have increased our staff, and will be moving within 2008 to a new facility!!!!

First, the name change:  We are now officially:  
OHIO VALLEY TEEN CHALLENGE, INC.

Second, the vision:  We are growing, in obedience to the Lord, to open a men’s residential center,  as well as continuing to operate the crisis and referral center, providing our 24-hour helpline, our 12-step Christ-centered support group, and A.D.A.P.T. presentations to schools and youth groups.  

To facilitate the growth:

We have increased our staff by bringing on Pastor Roy and Cathy Barnett, former directors of the Chicago, IL Men’s Teen Challenge Center. We will share more about the Barnetts in coming months. Pastor Roy has assumed the position of Executive Director of Ohio Valley Teen Challenge Men’s Residential Center, and Cathy will act as Administrator for Ohio Valley Teen Challenge.

Finally, our new facility:  We are in the process of developing plans for new space for Ohio Valley Men’s Residential & Crisis/ Referral center in the building formally known as Cafaro Hospital.  We are hoping to move into the new facility sometime in 2008. 

We are working to secure long-term funding for the new center, but are in urgent need of short-term funding at present.  If you would like to donate to Ohio Valley Teen Challenge to help us meet immediate needs, you may mail your check to Teen Challenge, P.O.
